January 12-13, 2021 (2 days) – $510
We have had many requests to repeat this trip we first did in 2017, so we will again offer this short tour south to Yuma AZ where we’ll savor the border cuisine of this historic border town, visit the infamous Territorial State Prison, and enjoy an interesting and very popular Field to Feast Tour. Over hundreds of thousands of years as the Colorado River carved out the Grand Canyon, it carried sediments downstream, creating some of this country’s best farmland. With more sunshine than anywhere else on earth it has made Yuma America’s winter vegetable capital. Yuma’s Field to Feast tour will give us a chance to harvest produce and eat a meal created from it just a couple of hours later. In between the Field and the Feast we will get a behind the scenes insight of Yuma’s multibillion-dollar agriculture industry. Let us know if you would like to join us with a $25 refundable deposit.
Included: All transportation, lodging, all admissions, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner.
