April 2019

We have been busy since the first of the year visiting many interesting destinations and enjoying numerous experiences. In January we visited Palm Springs and not only explored the Palm Springs present and past, but also toured the Nixon Presidential Library as well as the General Patton Memorial Museum. In early February we took a group and attended the Mesquite Musicfest and then it was off on an 11 day Sea of Cortez Cruise that included a visit to 2 ports up into the Sea of Cortez that receive very few cruise ships during the year. These ports were a welcome relief for most of us to the commercialized ports that are typically visited. We enjoyed smooth seas but the weather was a little cooler than expected. In March we invaded San Diego and spent 4 days experiencing a city that has too much to see and do in just 4 days and nights. Finally we just returned from a short and sweet Phoenix trip where we visited some of the must sees located in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

Important Tour Updates

Cancellation notice:

We have decided to cancel our Discover Scotland Tour scheduled in October which we were planning to do with Collette. It was clear by April 1, 2019 we were less than half the number required to make this tour a go. We hate cancelling a tour and seldom do so, but in this case it was necessary. At the moment we have not put in another more local and less expensive tour in its place, however we have a couple trips we are considering.

Verde Canyon & Sedona Tour March 24-26, 2020.

This tour is now completely planned and priced. The price is $685 per person double occupancy and $770 per person single occupancy. For those who have already made a reservation for this trip each will be individually notified of the pricing.
